Harvesting: the harvest is mechanized and is performed usually between late September and early October
Wine-making: it is traditional, with the soft pressing of the grapes, followed by fermentation at controlled temperature, below 28° C, in stainless steel vats, made specifically to obtain delicate tannins and extract the colour
Aging: after fermentation, the wine remains inside the steel vats until the spring, then it is placed inside 30-hl barrels made with English oak and barriques, where it ages for approx. 12 months.
At the eye: intense ruby red colour
At the nose: light scents of violet and dry flowers
At the mouth: excellent body, harmonious, savoury, with soft tannins
At the table: it is ideal to accompany typical dishes of the Tuscan cuisine, consisting of meat and aged cheeses
To serve:: at 18° C.
